The latest #Net_Hack Challenge event took place at The Centre for Sustainable Design ® (CfSD) at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) in the UK on 16th November 2017. Innovation Teams were comprised of invited experts and postgraduate students from UCA’s School of Craft and Design. The #Net_Hack Challenge concept is supported by UCA, Circular Ocean , the Global Ghost Gear Initiative (GGGI) and MCB Seafoods.
The workshop incorporated a series of creative, fun and innovative processes based on Professor Charter’s unique GreenThink process. Teams worked throughout the day to develop solutions to a series of challenges set by external experts. At the end of the day, groups presented their concepts to an expert judging panel. The resulting early stage prototypes will be then be open-sourced for co-design and co-development with the global community.
