Circular Ocean Innovation Conference 2017

Join Circular Ocean in Reykjavik this July for our “Innovation Conference” which will gather Circular Ocean partners with members of the academic, creative and business communities to explore the opportunities around re-purposing waste Fishing Nets & Rope (FNR’s) in the Northern Periphery & Arctic Region.

Circular Ocean Innovation Conference will feature high quality presentations and unique innovation processes focused on the opportunities around the recycling and re-purposing of waste Fishing Nets and Rope (FNR’s) . The event will be an excellent forum for ideas and networking amongst business, policy, design, creative and fishing communities in the Northern Periphery & Arctic Region.

The conference will open on Monday, July 17th with updates from the Circular Ocean partners, followed by a “Serious Game” facilitated by Dr Laurent Bontoux  from the EU Policy Lab with support from Professor Martin Charter from The Centre for Sustainable Design.
